Kawasaki’s newest Z is the direct descendant of the legendary Z1,
a machine named with last letter of the alphabet to reflect its intended status as the most extreme machine of its time.
But for these custom directors the Z900RS was not an end – it was merely the beginning.
The rich history enjoyed by the Z brand is thanks in part to the Spirit of Innovation infused in all Z machines – something that has been passed down from the original Z1 through all of its successors. “History” and “innovation” were the theme for this project. With diverse backgrounds and each renowned in their respective fields, our custom directors each brought to bear their unique vision of Z to customise the new Z900RS.
